Controversial pseudo-archeologist Graham Hancock explores the death of ancient civilisations in this Netflix series, which also stars Keanu Reeves.

Animated content for the second series of the show was produced and directed by Hello Charlie.

I worked across a number of the animated sequences in the series that explore apocalypse myths, adding camera movement, transitions, lighting and particle effects to bring the illustrated frames to life.

This is a highlights reel showing some of my work on the series.

The title plate at the end is not by me, but appears with Hello Charlie’s permission.

I did the animation and compositing across the myths sequences featured in this reel and also some additional tracking and comp work that I’ve not included. 

This is a complete myth sequence, with the sync audio. It tells the story of Kukulkan.

Many of the myths were cut-up during the editing process, but this one made it to the screen intact.
